Golf course
Smiths Falls, Ottawa
Smiths Falls Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole, par-71 parkland course that winds through stands of cedar, spruce and evergreen in Eastern Ontario's Rideau region. First established as a nine-hole layout in 1954, it was expanded and redesigned by noted architect Graham Cooke in 1982, and now stretches to about 6,421 yards from the back tees. Elevation changes and bunker-guarded, fast greens demand precise shot-making throughout. The club is well known as the home course where LPGA star Brooke Henderson developed her game.
