About the course
Shilo Country Club is an eighteen-hole, par-72 course on the sand hills at CFB Shilo, about 35 km east of Brandon, where the public plays alongside the military community. Gently rolling, easy-walking fairways run mostly open, with scattered trees, water and sand placed to punish a careless line rather than a short one. It measures 6,625 yards from the black tees at a 71.4 rating and 124 slope, and is widely reckoned the best-conditioned course in the Westman area. Groups are capped at four and the sheet runs from 7:30 in the morning.
