Saint John, New Brunswick
Rockwood Park Golf Course is a municipal eighteen-hole course built in 1971 and redesigned in 1983 by John F. Robinson, Geoffrey Cornish and Bill Robinson. It plays to par 70 at 6,017 yards from the black tees, 5,680 from the blue and 5,023 from the yellow, with a rating of 68.7 from the blacks. The course sits inside Rockwood Park, one of North America's largest urban parks at 2,200 acres and part of the UNESCO Stonehammer Geopark, on upland Acadian mixed forest with lakes, real elevation and elevated tees. Wayward driving is punished heavily, and the back nine has five par 4s under 320 yards.
