River Hills Golf & Country Club opened as a nine on 1 August 1960, on farmland broken the year before, and reached eighteen holes on 12 September 2001. It plays to par 72 at 6,497 yards from the blue tees, 6,146 from the black and 5,324 from the yellow, with a rating of 71.8 and slope of 134 from the blues. The front nine runs along the Clyde River before climbing into elevated wooded ground framed by rock walls, then returns riverside for three finishing holes, while the five newest holes sit across the road among ponds and rock walls. The original farmhouse became the clubhouse.
