Golf course
Creighton, Saskatchewan
Phantom Lake Golf Club is unmistakably a Precambrian Shield course, laid out on rolling ground studded with bare rock outcrops and pockets of muskeg near the Manitoba border. Those features give it real character and real hazard — muskeg swallows stray balls outright, and a shot off rock can end up anywhere. It is the northernmost bookable course in Saskatchewan, and being next to Flin Flon it keeps Central time with daylight saving rather than the province's usual clock.
