About the course
Pembina Valley Golf Club is a nine-hole, par-35 course just north of Evansburg, about an hour west of Edmonton. It opened in 1955 and is still run as a non-profit by volunteers from the surrounding area, having put in grass greens in 1998 and a new clubhouse in 2011. The holes carry local names — The Hollows, Willow Hollow, The Shelf — and follow the rolling ground above the Pembina River, with a water hazard guarding the seventh. Green fees are among the cheapest in the region, children eleven and under play free, and cart and club rentals are available on site.
