Golf course
Burlington, Ontario
Millcroft opened in 1987 as the centrepiece of the north Burlington neighbourhood built around it, with Thomas McBroom responsible for the routing. The 18 holes play to a par of 70 over roughly 5,734 yards, and no two fairways run parallel — every hole is framed by trees and housing rather than by its neighbour. Water is in play on twelve holes and the medium-sized greens are quick and heavily bunkered. The semi-private club sells memberships with no entry fee and keeps a standing block of public tee times.
