Golf course
Lindsay, Ontario
A Kawartha Lakes club with roots going back to 1909, Lindsay Golf & Country Club plays over a Graham Cooke layout that mixes sheltered parkland holes with more open, links-flavoured stretches. Rolling fairways run out to small, quick greens that reward an accurate approach far more than raw distance, and ponds large and small come into play on about half the round. Five sets of tees stretch the course from roughly 5,000 to 7,000 yards, so the same holes can feel gentle or genuinely championship depending on where you start. It stays comfortably walkable, and the clubhouse patio is a popular finish for groups making the hour-long drive up from the GTA.
