Golf course
Blind River, Ontario
Huron Pines was built in 1984 on the west side of Blind River, on the North Channel of Lake Huron along the Trans-Canada Highway. The par-72 championship layout runs to 6,763 yards from the back tees, with middle and forward decks at roughly 6,245 and 5,552 yards. Holes are carved through stands of pine beside the Mississagi River, and the course rates 73.2 with a slope of 134 — stout for a course of its size. The club bills itself as Northern Ontario's best value in championship golf and welcomes public play.
