GreeneAcre Golf Club

GreeneAcre sits in the heart of the Thousand Islands just north of Highway 401 at Gananoque, with gently rolling ground and open views toward the Gananoque River. It is a regulation nine of roughly 3,200 to 3,400 yards playing to a par of 35/36, and a second set of tee blocks turns it into a full 18-hole round of about 6,600 yards. Big bentgrass greens near 6,000 square feet are the defining feature, rewarding approach play and punishing anyone who leaves themselves on the wrong tier. The pace is relaxed and the conditioning is a point of pride, with a practice range, putting green and a wide patio waiting when the round is done. Open roughly April through November, it is an easy, unpretentious stop for anyone passing through eastern Ontario.
