Golden Golf Club

Golden Golf Club plays along the Columbia River wetlands with the Purcells on one side and the Rockies on the other, an 18-hole par 72 of roughly 6,825 yards. The club traces its roots to 1935 and became a non-profit society in 1962, but the course golfers play today opened in 1985 after a fundraising campaign that included a Guinness-record 20-mile golf hole played from Parson to Golden. Creeks wander through the property and several holes run right along the river, with the par-4 11th above Holt Creek as the signature. It is a mountain course that stays walkable, and the valley-bottom setting keeps it playable well into the fall.
