Golf course
Blairmore, Alberta
Crowsnest Pass Golf Club plays 18 holes at par 72 over roughly 6,650 yards on the floor of the Crowsnest valley, with the peaks of the Rockies filling every horizon and Turtle Mountain rising above the back nine. Lodgepole pine lines most of the fairways, and elevation changes and mountain creeks do the defending rather than sheer length. It is one of the highest courses in Alberta, which keeps the air thin and the ball flying, and the mountain setting makes it a regular stop for golfers driving Highway 3 between Lethbridge and the Kootenays. The season is short — generally May through September — and the clubhouse serves food and drink through it.
