About the course
Coal Creek opened in 2012 on the reclaimed site of the historic Dodds coal mine, about 50 minutes east of Edmonton. It stretches to 7,207 yards at par 72 across rolling, wooded terrain and wetlands, and is best known for the black sand bunkers that nod to the property's mining past. An on-site RV resort makes it a genuine weekend destination.
