About the course
Club de golf Lac-Mégantic opened in 1965 on the Route des Sommets, with the Maine mountains and the lake itself as a backdrop, and was rated four stars by Quebec's tourism industry corporation in 2011. The par-72 runs past 6,400 yards over heavily wooded ground, with several ponds and well-defined fairways. Every hole has a distinct character, and the club has always aimed at high-quality golf that stays accessible.
