Civilia Golf Retreat — known for years as Lacarya Golf Course — is a 3,036-yard, par 36 nine spread over 74 acres on the Old North Thompson Highway in Clearwater. Ponds come into play on several holes and the mountains of the Wells Gray corridor frame the whole property. Play it twice for a 6,072-yard 18, and an on-site RV campground and lakeside hotel make it an easy stop on the Yellowhead.
