About the course
Carstairs Community Golf Club is an eighteen-hole, par-72 course on Highway 2A between Calgary and Red Deer. Multiple tee sets, including several combination options, let it stretch or shorten considerably to suit the player. On clear days the Rocky Mountain front fills the western horizon behind the course. It is a community-owned club roughly forty-five minutes north of Calgary.
