About the course
The South Championship Course is the longer of Bally Haly's two layouts, an 18-hole par 72 laid out over rolling ground on the northern edge of St. John's. The club dates to 1904 and is among the oldest in Newfoundland, but it sells public tee times alongside its member sheet. Mature trees, small greens and the Atlantic weather off Quidi Vidi make it a test of placement rather than power.
