Amherst Golf Club

Amherst Golf Club dates from 1909 and lies on John Black Road on the eastern edge of Amherst, near the Nova Scotia border with New Brunswick. It is an eighteen-hole semi-private course of par 71, playing 6,415 yards from the blue tees, 6,088 from the white and 5,187 from the red. The blue tees rate 70.5 against a slope of 131. C.E. Robinson reworked the layout in 1970, and the greens are quick and noticeably contoured.
