Campbell River
Opened in 1985 and designed by Canadian architect Les Furber, Storey Creek is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland course routed through old-growth and second-growth coastal forest just south of Campbell River. The layout plays between roughly 5,411 and 6,696 yards across four tee decks, with salmon-bearing creeks and ponds weaving through nearly every hole. Hole 6 offers striking views toward Quadra Island, while the closing 18th plays across a pond to a green framed by mature cedars. Now a member-owned, non-profit semi-private facility, it also features a full-length driving range, short-game area, and the Creekside Grill.

Chemainus
Opened in 1948 and later redesigned and expanded to 18 holes by golf architect Les Furber (reopened August 1989), Mount Brenton is a par-71/73 layout widely considered Vancouver Island's hidden gem. Shaded fairways weave beneath towering firs, cedars, hemlock, willow, and maple, with creeks to carry and ponds to negotiate on several holes. An extensive drainage system and Chemainus's mild coastal climate keep the course playable year-round.
