Known as the "Salmon Capital of the World," Campbell River is the gateway to northern Vancouver Island, perched along the tide-ripping waters of Discovery Passage with views of Quadra Island across the strait. The town blends rugged wilderness with a strong fishing and logging heritage, and its cooler coastal climate produces lush parkland golf terrain. Courses here are carved through old-growth forest with frequent glimpses of the ocean and coastal mountains.

Chemainus is a seaside community on eastern Vancouver Island famous worldwide as the "Mural Town," with more than 60 outdoor murals and sculptures that rejuvenated the village after its sawmill downsized in the 1980s. The coastal setting, boutique downtown, and nearby Mount Brenton Golf Course make it a favourite Cowichan Valley destination for visitors.

Cobble Hill is a quiet village tucked into the heart of the Cowichan Valley wine country, about 45 minutes north of Victoria along Highway 1. Surrounded by vineyards, cideries, and rolling farmland, the community offers a relaxed rural character with easy access to Satellite Channel views and nearby Arbutus Ridge.
